Same-Day Provisionals

Extraction, implant placement, and 3D-printed temporary teeth in one visit — made possible by in-house digital scanning and printing. When your biology allows it, you walk out with teeth the same day.

How Same-Day Implants Work

The key is preparation. Before surgery day, we use in-house 3D CBCT scanning and digital planning software to map every implant position, angle, and depth. Your provisional teeth are pre-designed and 3D-printed so they're ready when you arrive.

On surgery day, failing teeth are extracted, implants are placed using surgical guides, and your pre-made provisional teeth are fitted immediately. The whole process — from arrival to walking out with fixed teeth — typically takes 4–6 hours for a full arch.

But here's the honest part: not every patient is a candidate for same-day provisionals. About 20% of cases need staged treatment — letting implants heal under the gums before loading them. When staging is safer, we tell you upfront and don't force a same-day solution.

01

3D Scan & Digital Planning

CBCT scan maps your bone in 3D. Virtual implant placement determines optimal positions. Provisional teeth are digitally designed before surgery day.

02

3D Printing Your Provisionals

Your temporary teeth are 3D-printed in-house from biocompatible materials. Pre-made, pre-fitted — ready when your implants go in.

03

Surgery Day

Extractions, implant placement, and provisional teeth delivery in one visit. You arrive with failing teeth, leave with fixed functional teeth. Local anesthesia or sedation.

04

Healing Phase

3–6 months of integration while you live normally with provisionals. Regular check-ins monitor progress.

05

Final Restorations

Your permanent zirconia or titanium teeth replace the provisionals — designed for decades of function and daily cleansability.

When Same-Day Treatment Makes Sense

Good Candidates

  • • Adequate bone volume and density on 3D scan
  • • Non-smokers or light smokers
  • • Good oral hygiene and overall health
  • • Full-arch cases with 3+ implants for cross-stabilization
  • • Patients who understand the limitations of provisionals

Cases Better Staged

  • • Heavy smokers or uncontrolled medical conditions
  • • Severely compromised bone requiring major grafting
  • • Single-tooth replacement in high-force areas
  • • Active periodontal disease or infection
  • • Bruxism (teeth grinding) without management
